7 killed, 25 injured in traffic accident in western Turkey
At least seven people were killed and 25 others injured in a traffic accident in the western Turkish province of Afyonkarahisar on Tuesday, local newspaper Today's Zaman reported Wednesday.
Afyonkarahisar Governor Irfan Balkanlioglu was quoted as saying that four vehicles had collided, leaving seven people dead and 25 others injured.
The accident occurred on the Afyonkarahisar-Konya highway when two passenger buses crashed into two trucks, said the report, adding that the injured were rushed to hospitals nearby for medical treatment.
